Sunday morning we are going to continue in the direction that I stepped off into last Sunday from Hebrews 10. This week we'll move into chapter 11 and look at the famous list of the "faithful" and think about what we can do to be faithful people. These are challenging times (like all times), but God has assured us that He will be with us, guide us, and protect us as we move forward and "draw near to Him."
Let me encourage you to think seriously about your own faith. Would you be willing to venture into an unknown land like Abraham? Would you respond like Noah when God told him to build an ark because it was going to rain...even though he had never seen rain? Would you be will to trust God to deliver your child when asked to sacrifice him? Would you have the courage to step up and lead God's people like Moses? Would you be willing to do whatever God asked you to do, not knowing where it would take you, what it would involve, or how you were going to accomplish it?
That's what faith is about.
Got a story you want to share about a faith step you've taken? I'd love to read it. Send it to me.
What God Wants: He Wants Us To Have Faith
