I was pleased by a number to things at the Yard Sale. We made a good amount of money that will go to a good cause. We had a lot of people come on to our property. The weather was great (except for the rain that fell on the group on Friday night as they tried to get things set out and ready for the sale). Several teens and members of the Youth Team had a good day of washing cars. The thing that I enjoyed and appreciate most about the yard sale was the Hermitage people. Some came early and stayed late. Some came late and didn't work. Some just dropped by. Regardless of the amount of time spent, or the energy exerted, everyone displayed a friendly, kind, gentle, and helpful spirit to everyone who came in search of treasure. Thanks to all who worked so hard. And thanks to all who participated by donating items, or purchasing items in the yard sale.
