Serving the Community
Mission Statement:
It is our desire to be a good neighbor by providing and meeting the needs of the people in our community.
Some of those areas of service include:
1. Providing benevolence for the people with special needs
2. Providing the facilities for Meals on Wheels and minister to sick and the shut ins
3. Working with Room in the Inn to provide the homeless with hot meals and a safe place to sleep
4. Providing a location for Weight Watchers to hold meetings
5. Hosting Blood Drives to meet the emergency needs of our community
6. Working with the Girl Scout Troops for developing young community leaders
7. Organized Sports Leagues to provide a Christian atmosphere of competition
8. Working with the American Red Cross by serving as a satellite disaster control center
9. Furnishing meeting space for approved community service groups
10. Providing space for Government agencies to hold community meetings
11. Providing facilities for the Tennessee Highway Patrol graduation exercises
12. Open Prayer service when tragedy affects our community
