Ist Annual Deaf Retreat


The 1st Annual Deaf Retreat was held at Camp Discovery in Jackson County. It is in Gainesboro, Tennessee. Over 40 deaf Christians came together over the weekend in April 2002. The theme was “Survivor” and Mike Helms gave exciting lessons on how to out-live, out-last and out-wit Satan.

 

2nd Annual Deaf Retreat


In April 2004, the 2nd Annual Deaf Retreat was held again at Camp Discovery in Tennessee. The theme was “Identity” and Mike Helms delivered some devotions on our identity as Christians. About 56 souls came to that retreat!

 

3rd Annual Deaf Retreat


The 3rd Annual Deaf Retreat was held at the same spot at Camp Discovery! The theme was “Living Stones.” Mike Helms and Hal Suddreth delivered their lessons on: “The Principle of Focus,” “The Principle of Utilization,” “The Principle of Provision,” and wrap-up the lesson on, “The Living Stones.” Hal Suddreth is a full-time minister to the deaf at Roebuck Parkway Church of Christ in Birmingham, Alabama. About 84 beloved Christians and friends came to that retreat on the end of the weekend in April 2005!
